mother’s day is a holiday when children honor their mothers with cards, gifts and flowers.
in many countries, such as denmark, finland, italy, turkey, australia and the us, people celebrate mother’s day on the second sunday in may while many other countries of the world celebrate their own mother’s day at different times through out the year.
one of the best ways to celebrate mother’s day is to give your mom the day off. let her relax with the rest of the family doing all the housework. usually, dad and the kids will let mom sleep late that morning as they go into the kitchen to prepare her favourite breakfast. never forget to place a vase with a single flower on the table beside the food. the kids can pick up the flower from the garden or buy one from the shop.
arrange everything nicely before mom wakes up. some families will carry the food and mom’s favourite sections from the newspaper to her bedroom so that mom can have breakfast in bed. presents and cards from the kids can be handed to mom by themselves or just placed on the dining table.
after breakfast, go anywhere mom likes to go. shopping, swimming or going on a picnic in the garden. make a special mother’s day dinner or take mom out for a great meal in a famous restaurant she loves most.
anyway ,let mom enjoy the whole day and feel your love, and then the mother’s day can be a good one. as mother’s day is around the corner, it’s time to take actions!

dragon boat festival, often known as tuen ng festival or duan wu festival, is a traditional chinese festival held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the chinese calendar. it is also known as the double fifth.[citation needed] it has since been celebrated, in various ways, in other parts of east asia as well, most notably korea.
the exact origins of duan wu are unclear, but one traditional view holds that the festival memorializes the chinese poet qu yuan of the warring states period. he committed suicide by drowning himself in a river because he was disgusted by the corruption of the chu government. the local people, knowing him to be a good man, decided to throw food into the river to feed the fishes to prevent them from eating qu's body. they also sat on dragon boats, and tried to scare the fishes away by the thundering sound of drums aboard the boat and the fierce looking dragon-head in the front of the boat.
in the early years of the chinese republic, duan wu was also celebrated as "poets' day", due to qu yuan's status as china's first poet of personal renown.
today, people eat zongzi (the food originally intended to feed the fishes) and race dragon boats in memory of qu's dramatic death.

the star in the sky were twinkling.some were crowded,and others were separate.then i found the stars were not the same color.there were many colors,white,gray,light blue,orange,and so on.it was really beautiful.at that time,the sky was like blue damask decorated by millions of bright diamonds.
looking up the sky,i saw the moon.it was like a naughty child.sometimes it hid in the clouds and sometimes it got out of the clouds.it seemsed to play"hide and seek"with us.the stars around the moon,however,were as girls,hiding themselves in the clouds.
oh,what a beautiful sky!
