从前，有一头叫“年”的怪兽，常常来人间吃小孩儿。后来有个神仙指点人们：“年”害怕红色和响声。于是人们开始用红色的东西装扮春节，用鞭炮驱赶厄运。从此，“年”再也没有出来作恶，村子里也恢复太平了。于是，这些习俗一直延续至今，还越传越广。
我喜爱春节，还因为春节可以放烟花。每到春节的夜晚，家家户户齐放烟花，各种各样的烟花在黑幕中绽放，有的像闪亮流星，有的像鲜艳的.花朵，还有的像灿烂的笑脸……
